If we don't fulfill our promise we owe others an apology.
        If we thought the impossible were so, life would cease. Yet none of us believes in the impossible.  We acknowledge it but we don’t believe in it. To believe in the impossible is to reject our passion. Yet our passion stirs us nightly and sustains us daily. The moment we believe in the impossible life passes. Only by rejecting its myth do we master.

What would you do to gain?

Suddenly I just had the sense that I’ve wasted the last ten years writing 17 books but making few friends. I’m not sure what prompted but it’s slightly painful. Maybe being alone in a hotel room the last four days provoked. I’m not sure why because I’ve done it before, bimonthly generally when I have the money. Even when I don’t I still come. Today, however, something happened to make me question myself. Maybe it relates to Michael Jackson’s death. He after all personified greatness. I, in contrast, simply desire it. In many ways, he died alone, conventionally speaking. Like all of us, however, he too had immortal longings. In an attempt to quell he lost himself, according to some. Perhaps.

HOW TIRED

Energy recycles when we resist temptations to quit.

How tired can we get? Does exhausted mean unable or simply unwilling? How can we know unless we go beyond ourselves? How heartless, perhaps, to demand such. Yet that's what success requires and happiness reveals. Still, most of us quit too early; others of us quit too often. In doing so, we forfeit momentum and feign motion. If, however, we were as serious as we say obstacles would move out of the way from respect for our passion. How many of us are acquainted thus?
