Our Grip

When grief grips grit fails.

We lose our grip when we lose our grit. Nothing then makes sense. We tell our stories to ease our miseries. Yet nothing consoles until we reclaim ourselves.

  1. Along these lines, it would seem that we cannot reclaim ourselves until we abandon the resistance to the grief at hand. But this is counter intuitive as resistance is our natural instinct when grief arrives.
