A NORMAL LIFE

A normal life isn’t the type that leads to greatness. Normal in fact is its nemesis, especially during the genesis when Destiny decides who will ride success’ heights. Then while others sleep, we work through the night, often against our wills because of what Destiny wants to reveal to others to help them discover their own potential.
The task is compounded because we lack credentials other than uncommon courage and desire indomitable, the combination of which makes us formidable. Characteristically formidable is fundamental to success. Without this we will wish rather than work as we should, especially when circumstances stifle. But that’s when we should reload our rifles, metaphorically speaking, and become even more determined to obtain what we are seeking.
So many people, though, let circumstances make them fold. Yet these same souls will watch the Olympics and ignore the template for success that they illustrate because every contestant endured something adverse solely for the opportunity to become great. In failing, however, the passive enthrone normal and berate the banal; indifferent to how their indifference controls both the channel and the flow of their lives.
Others assert that it’s too late because they don’t know how to become vicariously great by supporting others in their dreams. Even so, life has innumerable schemes and designs that can help us achieve what we have in mind. Yet the character of a normal life we must first be willing to decline. If we do this and diligently persist, our gifts will grow and our talents will eventually show themselves, taking us we know not wheres!

TORN AND TENDER

Paydirt is payback for all the put-downs we endured.

There is a height that invites us to visit. Few, however, are inquisitive. So, they buy postcards and postpone the journey, surrendering to reason's tyranny. Then when others emerge who followed the urge they are the first to cry, "How do these fly!" Yet if how knew the flight's view would be all too common. It isn't, however, because most people ignore the summons. (http://www.joelbryant1.com)

QUIZZES

Our love of leisure damns, labor, change too, unless autonomous.

There is a quiz but no key, academically speaking. Thus the answers like the questions must be created, creative even, for you to pass. Else you will pout implacably.

OUR DREAMS

We pursue until we possess or become discouraged and change our minds.

Why do we wait so long to pursue our dreams? What makes us indefinite procrastinators? How can we spend years looking and days debating before embarking? Are the times that contrary or are we too cautious? Why must we be fed up before venturing out?

**NEW BLOG: A DREAMER'S DIARY**

This blog is dedicated to the disgruntled dreamer inside all of us. Thus it chronicles my evolution (and anguish), as I sought to pursue my dream of becoming a writer after I left my job with Dun & Bradstreet. Each post will portray some element of its difficulty, beginning with my disgruntlement and the subsequent decision and consequences. More than that, my goal is to comfort and accompany you as you strive to accomplish your own evolution. Yes, the economy's terrible and things are tight. But something about dreams refuses to wait. So, if you're ready for the journey, here's my journal to guide you along.

LUCK

Luck lurks daily seeking someone to favor.

Luck is the domain of the unseen. Upon falling, it grants what effort can’t. Some call it favor, others fortune. Some are oblivious; others disheartened, especially when it denies their aims. All effort is an attempt to entice whether or not we admit it. That’s why we disdain those who gain it without sufficient labor, condemning what luck condones in their behalf. They meanwhile weren’t concerned with the laws of attraction or any other treatise that promised to parley success’ secrets. Instead they pursued what passion imagined. Luck thus lent its help. Laws are deduced by those whose tendency it is to measure. They are obeyed by those who have yet to master. ‘Tis this failure that sells books and inflates boasts.

EVALUATING AVERAGE

How we respond reveals how we feel about ourselves.

I hate average and all the factors that support. This median is the region of the passive. I despise complacency, a form of insolvency, which when indulged denies destiny. How easily twenty-four hours erects insuperable obstacles. All things considered, how many lives are embittered because they refuse to confront themselves.
